Advanced Arabic

ArabicOnline is an online eLearning course of Arabic. It meets the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), Levels B1 and B2. The Advanced Programme is designed for learners who have studied Arabic for at least two years and are able to read and understand Arabic texts in various subject areas.

Details

The Advanced Arabic Programme is designed for learners who have studied Arabic for at least two years and are able to read and understand Arabic texts in various subject areas. The programme contains extensive reading texts, ranging from media Arabic to email correspondence, with reading comprehension exercises, grammar study and writing activities.

Duration: 50 - 60 hours

Criteria

The learner has previously studied Arabic for at least two years and is able to read and write Arabic script.
The learner has spent at least 50 - 60 hours studying with the Advanced Arabic programme and completed all the units.
The learner has demonstrated an ability to read, understand and work with written Arabic texts covering a wide range of topics.
The learner has demonstrated a command of Arabic grammar to level B2.
